It features the super accurate Pro Scanner, an improved version of the Fast Scanner, and a redesign of the collection management system that makes the process of adding cards faster and simpler. Throughout 2026 and beyond, we will continue to add must-have features for players and collectors like a unique deckbuilding system, card price alerts, wishlists, and more!

As players and collectors ourselves, we want the best when it comes to TCG collection tracking and organization. With Sorted, we made some big changes from our Dragon Shield Scanner apps to give you a better experience, enhanced performance, and a single access point for all TCGs in a single app. Think about Sorted as an evolution towards faster updates, more features, and a better experience for you.

We are very excited to introduce a tool that serves the needs of the TCG community, so we decided to make Sorted available as soon as the core features were ready. More enhancements will be released along the way, but we were too eager to wait! We also wanted to give our current and most passionate users a chance to use it first and give us feedback to make sure it is serving you, the fans, in the best way possible. This feedback will help shape the app into something that truly helps you, so you spend less time searching for cards in boxes and prices in 50 different sites and more time enjoying the game and your collection.

Switching now means you will be among the first to try out this enhanced experience and get access to all updates and new features. As an early adopter, you also have the opportunity to provide direct feedback, so you can help shape the future of Sorted.

For now, yes, we will continue to add new cards to the Dragon Shield Scanner apps as they are released, and we will continue to update card prices. However, as we phase out the old apps, new cards, pricing updates, and features will be available exclusively in Sorted. Switching to Sorted ensures you have the latest TCG tools and features.

Yes, you can, but keep in mind that your collection(s) will not sync between them. Any changes you make to your collection(s) in the Dragon Shield Scanner apps will not show up in Sorted and vice versa.

Yes, eventually the Dragon Shield Scanner apps will be retired. But don't worry, we'll send plenty of reminders before they stop working.

Existing Dragon Shield Scanner users: No. Your login for the Dragon Shield Scanner app(s) will be the same for Sorted, so there is no need to create a new account. Simply log in using the same email and password – or the same Google, Facebook or Apple account – that you used on the Dragon Shield Scanner app(s) and your collection(s) will be imported into Sorted. If you prefer, you can create a new account, but then the process of importing your collection(s) to Sorted will be more difficult.

New Sorted users: Creating an account is required to fully track and organize your TCG collection. You can still scan up to five cards per day without an account.

No, your collection is safe with Sorted. Once you login with your Dragon Shield Scanner app account, your data will be imported into the new Sorted app so you can pick up right where you left off.

If you have multiple collections across the four Dragon Shield Scanner apps, Sorted combined them into one central place, making it easier to track and manage your TCG collections.

Yes, your collection will be imported automatically when you log into the Sorted app with the same login method you were using for the Dragon Shield Scanner app(s) (email and password, Google, Facebook, or Apple).

Exception: If you originally signed up to the Dragon Shield Scanner app(s) with Apple and chose the option to hide your email address, Sorted will ask you to confirm your email before importing your collection(s). Once your email is confirmed, your collection(s) will be imported automatically.

No, not immediately. The Dragon Shield Scanner apps will remain available for some time.

That said, all new features, improvements and updates will be released exclusively in Sorted, so we recommend switching when you're ready to enjoy the best and most up-to-date experience.

Even better! Sorted supports multiple games trading card games in one place, so you'll no longer need separate apps. When importing your collection from Dragon Shield Scanner into Sorted, we will make sure to bring in all your collections from all Dragon Shield Scanner apps so you can start managing everything in one place.

You can't choose what will and will not be imported. All cards you had in your collection in all the Dragon Shield Scanner apps will be brought into Sorted. You can, however, easily delete the cards you don't want afterwards.

No, nothing will be deleted or lost. All your cards will be safely stored. Decks, wishlist and sold cards won't be available on Sorted from day one, but your data is saved in the background and linked to your account. As we release new and improved versions of these features throughout 2026, your decks, wishlist and sold cards will become visible and accessible again.

If you notice missing cards, incomplete folders or any other issue related to your collection after it is imported to Sorted, don't worry, your collection is still safe.

Step 1: Try re-importing your collection through the app settings. This process will delete all cards you currently have on Sorted to import everything into a clean slate.

Step 2: If the problem persists, contact our support team and we'll help fix it.

Don't worry! If you close the app, the import process will continue running in the background and your TCG collection will be safe in Sorted when you get back.

Yes. Once you've successfully imported your collection to Sorted and you're comfortable using the new app, you can delete the old Dragon Shield Scanner app.

Yes! Just like the Dragon Shield Scanner apps, you can download and use the core features for free. If you want exclusive access to additional features and advanced tools, you can subscribe to Sorted Premium.

Right now, your active Premium subscription will automatically carry over to Sorted, giving you access to all Premium benefits – no action required. Plus, the Sorted app will continue to receive new Premium features that will be added along the way, which won't be released in the old Dragon Shield Scanner apps.

For Android users: When the Dragon Shield Scanner apps are fully retired, Google Play will stop renewing subscriptions tied to those apps. This means your Premium subscription will remain active until the end of your billing period, and then you'll need to resubscribe directly in Sorted to keep Premium. Don't worry, we'll give you plenty of reminders before this happens!
